A Couple of Cute Outfits

Since I (Daddy) have no fashion sense, I couldn't resist posting pictures of these outfits that I put together for Maya that actually looked good (and weren't prepackaged by Carters).
At least someone that I dress looks good.

A First Birthday Bash for Maya

Cupcakes baked and decorated by Auntie Merry and Grandma Carol.
Calm before the storm.
Maya woke up from her nap after the party started and was a little hazy at first.
Autie Susie and Grandmom Carol.
Then she warmed up.
Daddy, Kathleen and Kate.

Opa, Sarah, Andrew, Lauren and Dawn.

Oliver and Adelaide helped Maya with present opening.

A big box.  What could be in there?
How do I tackle this?
Mommy has to help.
I got it Mom, I got it.
Anticipation from the big box givers.
Musical instruments! The neighbors are gonna love this.
Time for cake.
Two candles; one for good luck.

Ready to have at it.  Love the hat, Auntie Kate.

Maya preferred asparagus.

True love.  Licking icing off a baby's hands.

Uncle Gar and Cousin Karen.
Gar, Pop-Pop Charlie and Mike in deep discussion.
The Estrogen Den Reunion.

Happy Birthday Maya

Our little pumpkin turned one this weekend.  We can't believe how fast time has flown by.

Maya last year on November 27th:

What a difference a year makes!
Reading about P.J. Funnybunny with Auntie Merry.
Climbing at the park in her purple panda suit.
After riding down the curvy slide.
Digging with Mommy.

Maya's First Thanksgiving, Post Partum

Last year, this is what Maya looked like on Thanksgiving:
This year, she was a little more into the holiday...

Auntie Merry flew in from Chicago to surprise us.
Mmm, yummy cell phone.
 Consternation.

The asparagus was her favorite part.

At least she shares.  For now.
Yummy beads.
 I like to climb stairs.

A Christmas catcus all in bloom.
Santa must be coming soon.

I love dogs.
