Maya Jo, Maya Jo, What Do You See?

Maya Jo, Maya Jo, what do you see?
I see a seagull looking at me.

Maya Jo, Maya Jo, what do you see?
I see a lion looking at me.

Maya Jo, Maya Jo, what do you see?
I see a leopard looking at me.

Maya Jo, Maya Jo, what do you see?
I see a tiger looking at me.

Maya Jo, Maya Jo, what do you see?
I see a turtle looking at me.

Maya Jo, Maya Jo, what do you see?
ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

We're Going to the Zoo!

The Bergen County Zoo is a perfect place for the attention span of a 7 month old.

Mommy and Maya contemplate the bison.

Pig goes oink...sort of.

Maya kept trying to get her hand on these budgies (parakeets) sitting on Daddy.  They weren't so keen on that idea.  Imagine that.

Back at home, she had more success with Sushi.

Here, kitty kitty. Nice kitty.

Now, I'm taking you down, punk!

Garden State Days

Maya has taken to greeting people by grabbing their faces, preferably their noses.

Teething on Opa's glasses.

Tinkling the ivories.  Actually, she much prefered the black keys...

Maya chows down.  In her solid food repetoire these days: carrots, bananas, pears, cantaloupe, watermelon, squash, Puffs (aka baby crack), and chicken (which she insists on following with a squash chaser).

We went for dim sum in Chinatown.  Afterwards, Maya went for her first playground swing ride.

Bonding with Opa on the streets of NYC.
