Maya's First Halloween

Maya won rave reviews for her star turn as "Pink Octopus" on this last day of October.

"Organizing" the Play-Doh that we gave out.
Play-Doh, by the way, is a hit with moms, little kids and, surprisingly enough middle and high schoolers.

Family Portraits

We had a fantastic local photographer take family portraits of us this fall in an apple orchard.
Here are just a few of them.

A favorite activity - stripping the bookselves bare.

Visit to Newton

Cousin Karen is back living in the Boston,
so we were able to get in a nice visit Susie, Gar and Karen in Newton.

Farmer Maya

When Nana and Bushkie were here, we went to visit a farm with Auntie Kate.  We had a blast.

Grandparent Visits

This fall, we've had visits from Grandma Carol, Opa and Kathleen, Nana and Bushkie, and Grandpa Tom.  We never got any shots of Grandma Carol, sadly, but she was a big help covering for us during Rosh Hashana when daycare was closed.  Opa and Kathleen helped out during Yom Kippur and Nana and Bushkie gave us a night out to go eat barbeque at Blue Ribbon and watch "Waiting for Superman."  And of course Nana did the laundry.  Grandpa Tom is still here, so we'll post his pics later.  All of the visits were a lot of fun, and a big help.

A New England Tradition

Allison and Maya went apple picking with Lauren, Oilver and Adelaide, Emily and Colin, and Dawn.

The Gourmand

Maya is a little gourmand.  We are very lucky because she eats very many solid foods including, but not limited to: cheerios, chana masala, dal, chicken cacciatore, broccoli, tomatoes, yogurt, apple sauce, bananas, pho, bagels, and the list goes on.  Here's some of the evidence:
